An only child, I was always a day-dreamer, who spent a lot of time staring into space and making things up!
I was brought up by my grandmother, my mum and her sisters, and it was the influence of those women that made me want to write. After winning a national magazine competition for the first chapter of an historical novel, I started taking it seriously.
Since then, I’ve published two novels: An Englishwoman’s Guide to the Cowboy and The 20’s Girl, the ghost, and all that jazz and am currently working on a third set in 1960s London and San Francisco.
I’m a member of the Romantic Novelists’ Association, and together with Lizzie Lamb, Adrienne Vaughan and Mags Cullingford, a founder of the indie publishing group The New Romantics Press
I live in the middle of England with my husband and family.
If you’d like to contact me, I can be found on Twitter and Facebook.
